Osimert-80mg-osimertinib is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer where T790M mutation is positive for epidermal growth factor receptor. It is in a class of medication called third generation epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This medication is used along with other medication as a therapy after removing the tumor in adult patient with non-small cell lung cancer.
Mechanism of Action of Osimert

For the t-line treatment and previously treated metastatic non-small cell lung cancer patient should tak 80 mg osimert daily once until disease progression and unacceptable toxicity. Finally, paitents must listen to their health care provider before taking osimert.
In case of pregnancy and breast feeding patients should not take osimert.
